Scope and Contents This collection contains the personal papers of Rev. Town. There are two diaries which contain the details of the day-to-day life of Jerome Town, S.J. in the collection. The diary from 1909 details his study and travels in and around Belgium while he was a student in the country. The diary from 1912 details his daily activities as a teacher at Holy Cross. This collection mostly includes correspondence dating from the 1930s through the 1970s. It also contains Fr. Marique’s documentation of “Classical Folia'' and the Leaders of Iberian Christianity. There are a number of Fr. Marique’s personal effects, such as his Daily Missal. Finally, the collection has an oversized certificate belonging to Fr. Marique that is written in Latin.
